Curled up near the ritual shrine in The Rift, she woke refreshed, happily enjoying the feeling of the sun beating down on her scales. I'll just lay here a few more moments.. She thought to herself before quickly falling back into a slumber, only to be awoken maybe an hour later by a clap of thunder. My scales would have dried out anyways if I kept it up.. Krawk stretched, rubbing her eyes as she sat up, her tail curling into her lap. It took a few moments before she jumped up, quite alert and a bit confused.
Wait, where am I?
In a frantic she dumped out her bag, snatching up the only thing in it, a journal. Flipping to the most recent page, she reads; 'You're now a werewolf, a man who goes by Kage Ookami bit you, it's alright, you wanted it and joined his clan. They are friendly and helpful.'
Alright.. But why can't I remember anything?
Deciding to first get out of the rain before it tore up the journal, she teleported to Riften, at least, according to the map in the journal it was Riften. Hiding under the first tent she saw she sat down, ignoring the merchant who seemed to be casually trying to make conversation with her as she flipped through the journal.
The journal was filled with her travels and the many times she helped everyone she came across, from the tiny things like picking herbs to major fights. The more Important notes were about herself on the first page of the journal, though it was short, it give her a good insight about her current situation. 'You forget things often, it's been this way since you hatched- alone in the middle of a swamp. Normally it's only your short term memory and it's not always a problem, Names or faces you're good at, though you can't always remember how you met the person. It's Important that you keep up with this journal, as once before you lost your entire memory. You don't know if it will happen again.'
Why do I write in third person? Well.. at least I still remember my name and how to fight.
Closing the Journal she sat there, wondering what to do next for a moment before shoving it back in her bag.
The Journal says to head to the Mages guild.. So I guess I'll go there.
